- Situate the necktie so that the end "X" is longer than end "Y" and cross "X" over "Y".
- Turn "X" back underneath "Y".
- Continue by bringing "X" back over in front of "Y" again.
- Pull "X" up and through the loop around your neck.
- Hold the front of the knot loosely with your index finger and bring "X" down through front loop.
- Remove finger and tighten knot snugly to collar by holding "Y" and sliding the knot.
